FISICO HITS THE TOWN IN CANNES

The Italian driver donned his black tie yesterday evening as he made an appearance at the famous Festival de Cannes.

Fisico dipped his toes into the glamorous world of the Cannes Film Festival yesterday as he attended the premiere of Jim Jarmusch’s 2005 competition entry, “Broken Flowers”, featuring a star-studded cast including Bill Murray and Sharon Stone.

The Italian attended the black tie evening on behalf of the team''s parent company Renault – a major partner of the world-famous event – with his companion Luna. “It was a great evening – things like the Festival are part of what makes the Monaco weekend something special in the season,” explained Giancarlo. “I have been here for a few days already on my boat, which I drove up from Italy – spending time with my family and relaxing. But I am really looking forward to Thursday, when the running starts and we can start learning the circuit again. I am feeling confident for the weekend – we know the car will be quick here, and I love the track. We can expect good things.”
