Peterborough’s Wings Škoda face the ‘National Three Peak Challenge’ on May 16 2009. The local Škoda dealership team aim to complete the climb in just 24 hours, including event travel time. The Wings Škoda team taking part is Justin Wing, Sales/General Manager and Nicolas Wattiez, Wings Sales Executive. Justin is supporting Sue Ryder Care, a charity providing hours of care to patients with illnesses such as cancer, multiple sclerosis and Huntington’s disease. Nicolas will be raising money for Cancer Research UK. Justin comments: “We are both really looking forward to this challenge and hope to raise much needed funds for our two chosen charities. Having had personal experience with our local Sue Ryder Care Hospice, Thorpe Hall, I have seen first hand the fantastic work they do day in day out.” The three peaks are Mount Snowdon in Wales at 3,560 feet, England’s Scafell Pike at 3209 feet and Ben Nevis in Scotland, 4,408 feet. The approximate walking distance to complete is 28 miles.
