CITROEN BRANCHES OUT
06 May 2008 - Citroën UK Ltd

How about interior design?

If you’re looking for some inspiration to redesign your home, it might be worth taking a few pointers from the car on your own drive. Citroën, the company that brought you the £100k designer garage for its executive C6 has branched out into interior design with its new Paris show, C_Chic, at the Marque’s Champs-Elysées home, the C42.

Displayed on the sensational revolving platforms of the C42’s cavernous rotunda are three room installations designed to echo the creative styling cues of Citroën’s latest model, the new C5, to create the ultimate automotive-inspired apartment.

Using renowned designer style brands such as Louis Vuitton, Bisazza and Aquamass, the C_Chic’s display rooms have been created to give C5 owners (and everyone else) inspiration for some truly luxurious home furnishing ideas.

With a model sitting room, bathroom and bedroom, Citroën’s C5 show-apartment features sophisticated styling with premium and luxurious materials throughout such as a sumptuous leather sofa in the ‘Lounge’ themed sitting-room, and expensive ceramics and spot lighting in the bright and minimalist bathroom. The black and chrome ‘Force Latine’ design of the bedroom provides a refined sleeping space with its dark and brooding colour palette.

Placed between the room installation platforms are also the three versions of the new C5 in its Saloon, Tourer and concept Airscape convertible form.

Since its official inauguration in October 2007, the C42 has welcomed more than a million visitors through its doors who come to learn more about one of France’s most beloved and iconic companies…as well as picking up some home decorating tips.
