NEW FEATURES FOR LEXUS RX 400H SR
18 March 2008 - Lexus

Silver roof rails, new-style floor mats and a new interior option

A spring upgrade has been announced for the Lexus RX 400h SR, adding more stylish features to a popular version of the UK market’s only hybrid power luxury SUV – at no extra cost.

The revised specification adds a discreet, body coloured rear spoiler at the top edge of the tailgate, silver roof rails, new-style floor mats and a new interior option that matches grey leather upholstery with black wood trim details.

These new features are in addition to the established specification for the SR, which is positioned in the range between the entry level RX 400h and the 400h SE. Multi-zone climate control air conditioning, eight-way electrically adjustable heated front seats, 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats and metallic paint (a no-cost option) are all provided as standard, while key options include the impressive Lexus Multimedia system with touch-screen satellite navigation, dynamic route guidance, Bluetooth, Park Assist Monitor and 11-speaker Mark Levinson audio system. Lexus’s new Premium In-Car Entertainment system with twin seatback large-screen DVD players, is also available.

The new RX 400h SR is on sale from 17 March, available in Tyrol Silver, Cadoxton Slate, Astral Black and Brechin Slate exterior colours, with Sussex Grey or Pembroke Black leather interior. The on-the-road price is £37,505 rising to £37,510 on 1 April with the introduction of the increased first registration fee.
