THE FREELANDER 2 IS CAPABLE OF PULLING UP TO 2 TONNES.
17 February 2008 - Land Rover

See it at the National Boat Caravan & Outdoor Show

Land Rover''s award-winning towing expertise will be showcased at the National Boat Caravan & Outdoor Show which opens next Tuesday, February 19 at the Birmingham NEC.

Anyone interested in purchasing a new towcar, or just improving their manoeuvring skills, will be able to drive a short course around the halls in the Land Rover Freelander 2, as part of The Caravan Club’s motor caravanning & caravan manoeuvring sessions.

The Freelander 2 recently scooped The Caravan Club''s best towcar over £32,000 award in its annual Towcar of the Year awards and is capable of pulling up to 2 tonnes.

''Many of our customers purchase a Land Rover for its class-leading towing capacity, all-round capability on any given terrain and for the lifestyle it allows them to lead,'' explains Andy Griffiths, Land Rover UK marketing director. ''Our involvement in the UK''s biggest outdoor leisure show allows us to communicate directly with other like-minded people.''

For visitors to the show with a thirst, the Land Rover Café – a coffee bar serving Land Rover coffee – is situated in Hall 5. The Freelander 2 and the Discovery 3 – Practical Caravan, What Car? and the Camping & Caravanning Club''s ''Best Towcar over 1900kgs'' – will be on display alongside. Range Rover and Range Rover Sport can also been found between Halls 1 & 2 on the Land Rover Experience stand.
