SEDONA SCORES A HAT TRICK
18 April 2007 - Kia

The Kia Sedona has secured another top spot in the Auto Express Used Car Honours, winning the Large MPV category for the third consecutive year.

The winning 2002 model Sedona triumphed over two strong players in the sector, the Citroën C8 and Renault Espace, to win the Large MPV category for the third time in a row and for a record fifth time since the awards began.

The judging panel was made up of various automotive experts, including representatives from the used car bible, EurotaxGlass’s Guide. Ross Pinnock, Auto Express Used Car Editor commented, “The Kia Sedona stands out in this sector every year, offering customers all the MPV versatility at a simply outstanding price.

“We analyse each vehicle on a whole host of factors relevant to vehicle ownership covering everything from mpg, servicing costs, warranty and depreciation to reliability and practicality and yet again the Kia really does offer customers the best overall package in its sector.”

Collecting the award was Kia’s Used Car Remarketing Manager, David McCluskey who commented: “We have been working hard to increase our residuals across the whole Kia range so are proud to see Sedona succeed at the Auto Express Used Car Honours once more. Our used car customers are particularly important to us as Kia grows its reputation for high quality and reliable products. To support this we will be launching an exciting new used car scheme later this year.”

Last year’s Small Car winner, the Kia Picanto also celebrated with an appearance on the short list for the same category again this year.
