DOUBLE VICTORY DELIGHTS GUEST TRUCKS

West Midlands-based commercial vehicle specialists Guest Trucks had double reason to celebrate at the Iveco National Sales Conference and Awards on Friday 31 March, after picking up the two top awards of the evening.

The company won the fiercely contested Distributor of the Year Award, whilst Ian Porter, Fleet Sales Manager, clinched the Top Performing Salesman Award, in recognition of selling 523 Iveco vehicles during 2006.

Held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham, the awards were presented by Nick Phillips, Sales Director of Iveco UK, together BBC television personality Mary Rhodes, in front of over 400 senior staff from across Iveco’s nationwide commercial vehicle distributor network.

Robert Spittle, Divisional Managing Director at Guest Trucks says: “We are delighted to receive the Distributor of the Year Award as it not only recognises the superb effort from all the team at Guest Trucks, but also our commitment to supporting our customers.”

The Distributor of the Year title is awarded annually to the best performing Iveco distributor in the UK, taking into account its success in delivering excellent service to customers on sales, service and parts, combined with its ability to expand its market share and run a profitable business.
