EXHIBITORS REV UP FOR ATS 07
22 February 2007 - SMMT

Over 25 new exhibitors have just signed up for the UK''s only national automotive and garage equipment trade show, ATS 07, putting the event on course for another success.

Well-known firms like Basic Welding Services, Car-O-Liner, Euro Car Parts, Stanners Equipment and Sykes-Pickavant will show their latest kit alongside newcomers like Bak-Jak and C-Tek. Diagnostics takes the lead for many exhibitors, with increasingly clever technology to help cut workshop costs by fast fault-finding on every make and model of car.

The newly formed Omitec/Crypton partnership will show its solutions on three separate stands, while recently acquired Sykes-Pickavant returns to the Show for the first time since 2004. V-Tech and Launch, both new to the UK market, have booked big, island stands with special Show offers as well as valuable technical advice for visitors.

BM Catalysts and European Exhaust & Catalysts expect the growing debate on environmental protection will bring even more visitors to their stands. Car and van operators find these products increasingly important for MoT tests.

Global components brands like Champion, Ferodo, Moog, NGK and SKF will be at the show with their well-known and world-class products.

Unipart, the UK’s biggest automotive aftermarket distribution group, has been at ATS since its origin in the early ''80s. The firm says it will use its stand in hall 1 to show its total support package for independent and franchised garages and body repairers.

''The Automotive Trade Show, combined with the Commercial Vehicle Show, provides a unique opportunity to present the group''s offering to everyone from the smallest garage or body shop to the largest commercial fleet operator,'' said Andrew Daly, marketing director for Unipart. ''With Truck and Trailer Components in hall 5 and the Unipart Automotive island in hall 1, we have both bases covered in just three days, he added.''

The Automotive Trade Show is open 0830 to 1730 daily from Tuesday 24 April to Thursday 26. Visitors can register on the show website - www.atshow.com - and the organisers will send a free show guide some three weeks ahead of the show together with a Fast Track entry pass. This means visitors can plan their visit, beat the queues on the day and, if they eat before 1030, get £2.00 off the Early Bird breakfast at the show.

The event is owned by the CV Show Partnership, comprising the Road Haulage Association, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and the IRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers), a professional sector of the Society of Operations Engineers.
