AID TO RECRUITMENT
20 December 2006 - ACFO (Association of Car Fleet Operators)

NEW ACFO WEBSITE

ACFO, the leading UK representative body for fleet operators, kicks-off a New Year with the unveiling of an all-new website featuring a host of additional functionality designed to give members an increased range of benefits.

Twelve months after the unveiling of a modern dynamic image for the 21st century with the launch of a new ACFO logo and colour scheme, the website - www.acfo.org - has now undergone a similar revamp.

Simultaneously, new features have been introduced including a ‘members’ only’ section that will include access to the minutes of regional meetings; presentations from guest speakers that can be downloaded; and ACFO-produced information for fleet decision-makers including its ‘Fleet Road Risk Policy Templates’ to help manage occupational road risk and driver handbook best practice guide.

In addition, there are links to other fleet management resources obtainable from Government departments and vehicle manufacturers, for example; as well as a diary of forthcoming ACFO meetings and events; a news section; key contacts’ information and how to join details.

ACFO director and membership secretary Stewart Whyte said: “The website is a key tool in our continuous ambition to increase our membership.

“We have 850 members and they benefit from ACFO membership in numerous ways including gaining access to a range of ACFO-only resources and discussing significant industry issues with their peers.

“By increasing the functionality of our website we hope more fleet operators and senior employees with fleet responsibility will see the benefits of ACFO membership and join.”
