NOMINATIONS REQUIRED ‘MOST OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO THE UK MOTORSPORT INDUSTRY’ AWARD The MIA is gathering nominations for its premier award, which will be presented at its annual champagne reception at the House of Lords, held this year on Monday, July 17. The prestigious award is presented to the person considered to have made the ‘Most Outstanding Contribution to the UK Motorsport Industry’ and former recipients include such automotive luminaries as Bernie Ecclestone, Tom Wheatcroft and David Richards CBE. Hosted by the MIA’s President Lord Astor of Hever, the event will be sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and attended by 300 top motorsport personalities from around the world.
