LTI RAISES FOUR FIGURE SUM FOR NSPCC’S BOOLE HOUSE
21 April 2006 - LTI Vehicles
Lydia Warrilow of the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), receives a cheque for a four-figure sum from employees of LTI Vehicles, the UK''s leading manufacturer of purpose built taxis.
Employees at LTI, who participated in a golf tournament, raised the sum having supported this charity on a regular basis with an annual golf tournament. The golf tournament, which is now in its third year, has been highly successful and the response from staff and suppliers has been extremely positive. A total of 12 teams of four played this year with each paying an entry fee. The event was also supported by suppliers with sponsorship and prizes. The event is open to all staff and took place at Staverton Park, Daventry, Northamptonshire, which has a challenging 18-hole golf course and driving range. Margaret Hitchins of LTI Vehicles commented: ''Yet again, we are delighted to raise another four figure sum for the NSPCC to support their invaluable work with children at risk.''
