ACTOR JOHNNY BRIGGS RETURNS TO THE ROVERS Johnny Briggs, better known as Mike Baldwin, the lingerie entrepreneur in ITV''s Coronation Street, is thrilled to be one of the first customers to take delivery of a new September **54** registration Rover 75 saloon from local MG Rover dealership Stour Valley MG Rover in Stourbridge. The Rover 75 2.0 CDTi Connoisseur SE in new white gold metallic is the second Rover 75 that he has owned. Johnny even convinced show bosses to allow his character Mike Baldwin to have one in the show too! Johnny said: ''I was so pleased with my Rover 75 that when I decided to renew my car nothing else was an option. The daily trip to Manchester for filming means that I need a car that offers a comfortable ride and handles with ease. The Rover 75 ticks all the boxes that I need, including great economy.'' Chris Symonds, Sales Manager at Stour Valley MG Rover commented: ''We were delighted when Johnny approached us again to buy his new Rover 75 and hope the relationship we have built up with him continues.''
