HONDA APPOINTS CAR MARKETING HEAD

Honda UK has announced the appointment of Jeff Dodds as Head of Marketing for the company''s UK Car operation effective April.

Dodds, 32 takes up the post from his current role as Head of Marketing for Honda''s Power Equipment business in the UK. He also has previous Honda experience in Honda UK Cars in Regional Sales Operations. Dodds joined Honda from Volvo in August 2002.

Honda has become well known over the past three years for its innovative marketing approach, creating the ''Dream Team'' of agencies including Weiden and Kennedy and Starcom to deliver innovative TV campaigns such as the ''Cog'' advert in 2004, ''Hate Something, Change Something'', their diesel campaign and the latest ''Choir'' TV commercial showing a 60-person choir vocalising the experience of driving the new Civic.
