GOING INTO THIRD EDITIONS

''Technical Dictionary for Automotive Engineering'' and textbook ''Ottomotor-Management'' from Bosch now published in expanded and updated editions

· Standard textbook ''Technical Dictionary for Automotive Engineering'', completely revised , now offering technical terms in German, English, French and additionally Spanish in one volume

· Textbook ''Ottomotor-Management'' with comprehensive update

The Bosch ''Technical Dictionary for Automotive Engineering'' is now going into its third edition. The book contains more than 7,000 technical terms in the languages German, English, French and now for the first time also Spanish. The terminology was assembled from various Bosch publications, such as the editions of the ''Yellow Jacket'' range - dedicated to individual areas of engineering - the ''Automotive Handbook'' as well as
other different technical publications and lists of technical terms. Automotive experts are thus given an easy-to-use, comprehensive and updated terminology of their special field.

Topical issues such as gasoline direct injection, intake manifold injection or catalytic exhaust-gas treatment have been completely updated in the third edition of the textbook ''Ottomotor-Mangement'' which was first published in 1998. Newly included is the Motoronic in bivalent mode. The system manages a gasoline engine which can be operated with gasoline as well as natural gas.
