State-of-the-art facility gets underway at Fort Dunlop site

Legendary British marque Bentley has just unveiled plans to substantially increase its presence in Birmingham. A state-of-the art dealership is now being built at the Fort Dunlop site for Bentley Birmingham and when completed later this year the city will host one of Bentley’s most prestigious showrooms in the UK.
Bentley Birmingham’s overall investment in the premises is estimated to be over £4 million and Mark Hudson, general manager of Bentley Birmingham, comments:

''Work is now well underway and we’re aiming to unveil a showpiece dealership for the city in October. Our move will enable us to offer an even better environment to view and experience these iconic British cars and there is definitely the added benefit of being able to make our contribution to the exciting development of the Fort Dunlop area.''

Hudson added that the decision to further expand Bentley Birmingham’s presence was made possible by the popularity of cars like the Continental GT and Continental Flying Spur which have both attracted a strong following in the city and West Midlands region and that the recruitment of additional team members would follow at a later date.

''The Continental range has attracted a great many new customers to Bentley in the area and we’ve been delighted to welcome such a wide audience. Our goal is to further extend the facilities and services we can offer these new Bentley owners, as well as having the capacity to grow the business in the future. The imminent arrival of the next member of the Continental family, the Continental GT Convertible, means this is very much the right time to be expanding our business.''
