NEW TOYOTA AWARDS RECOGNISE BUSINESS CENTRE EXCELLENCE

Toyota (GB)’s Business Centre of the Year programme culminated in January
Toyota held the presentation of the first annual awards to the centres and individual managers and employees who have achieved the highest standards in a wide range of customer service and business management skills. There was keen competition among the 94 Toyota business centres across the UK, which between them employ more than 200 staff. Contenders were judged according to detailed criteria, with three short-listed to contest the ultimate honours in each of eight awards categories. The 2006 winners are:
· Business Centre of the Year – Hills of Woodford · Business Centre Manager of the Year – Darryl Raper, Pentagon Doncaster · Business Centre Administrator of the Year – Sue King, King’s of Southampton · Business Centre Marketing Award – Gordon Lamb, Chesterfield · Business Centre Knowledge Award – Pentagon Doncaster · Best Service to National Fleet – RRG Fleet Group · Commercial Vehicle Business Centre of the Year – John Roe, Grimsby · Excellent in Customer Care – Hills of Woodford The past year has yielded dynamic business growth and operational changes for Toyota’s national network of business centres, implemented to help deliver higher standards of service and develop new opportunities within the national small business and fleet market. The awards programme is set to continue as an annual fixture in the business centre calendar.
