THE AAA-SPONSORED ROUSH RACING #6 FORD FUSION TO APPEAR AT CHICAGO AUTO SHOW

AAA is previewing its new 2006 NEXTEL Cup race car sponsorship.

WHAT: AAA has signed a contract with Roush Racing to sponsor the #6 AAA Ford Fusion, driven by Mark Martin, at NEXTEL Cup Series races in 2006. At the Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place, the #6 AAA Ford race car will be on display, as well as a racing simulator for media members and visitors to test their driving skills in a virtual experience of roaring around Daytona International Speedway at over 200 miles per hour.

During Media Days -- February 8-9 -- members of the media will have the opportunity to test their skills on the simulator. The top speed will win $2,500 for the charity of his or her choice, second place earns $1,500 for the charity of his or her choice, and third place will win $1,000 for charity.

WHEN: Media Racing Hours:
Wednesday, February 8
9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.

Thursday, February 9
9 a.m. to noon

Media winners will be announced at 2 p.m. February 9. Also on display will be a series of public service announcements featuring Mark Martin aimed at teen driver safety.

WHERE: The AAA Motorsports Exhibit is located in the South Hall, booth number SH20, near the Ford exhibit.

The show opens to the public from February 10-19. During posted hours, visitors will be able to test their racing skills in the simulator. The single top scorer from visitors at the Auto Shows in Detroit, Grand Rapids and Chicago will receive two tickets to the June 16, 2006 NEXTEL Cup race at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn and a 1/24 die cast model of the #6 AAA Ford. The winner will also have a chance for a meet and greet with Mark Martin.
