IN SURVEYS, KANGOO TOPS MASON’S LIST
02 February 2006 - Renault

Mason Land Surveys are purchasing 13 of the versatile cars for its fleet with more orders expected.

As one of the UK’s largest and leading land survey providers, Mason Land Surveys, specialises in the delivery of fast, accurate and efficient capture of surveying information for its clients and it’s essential that its fleet of vehicles deliver the same quality results.

Renault’s Kangoo is more than up to the challenge.

Established more than 30 years ago, Mason Land Surveys offer one of the most comprehensive surveying practices in the UK providing a complete range of geospatial services from conventional topographic land survey right through to the latest technological innovations such as digital spatial information.

The 13 Kangoos are used by Mason Land Surveys primarily to transport a team of Mason’s surveyors to their works site, as well as the necessary equipment required. Mason Land Surveys needed a vehicle that it could not only rely on to ensure it always meets its client’s requirements, but also that can be practical and versatile enough to easily carry a team and their surveying tools in comfort.

Kevan Mason, Managing Director, Mason Land Surveys, said; ''The Kangoos are the ideal vehicle for business and private use by the drivers due to size, fuel economy and practicality. We use the Kangoos in favour of vans and other small cars because of its excellent visibility, high roof, large and expandable boot, horizontal tailgate positioning enabling weather protection and the versatility of the sliding door is an added bonus.

''Having run Kangoos on our fleet previously, we have first hand experience of the Kangoo’s excellent choice of modern diesel engines offering low emissions, long service intervals, proven reliability and low running costs. In addition, our drivers are very positive about the vehicle which is important to us. The Kangoo’s individual styling was also a factor in our choice as it certainly stands out from the crowd which in turn helps Mason’s reputation for standing out as first-class provider of surveying information''.

With the ability to tailor surveying packages specific to customer requirements, Mason has attracted an enviable list of clients such as English Heritage, Highways Agency, Environment Agency and Tesco.

BAA - which owns and operates seven UK airports including Heathrow and Gatwick - lists Mason as one of its preferred suppliers for surveying services, and the Renault Kangoos are a common site around these airports operating both airside and landside.
