GRANDE PUNTO PRICING
30 January 2006 - Fiat

Fiat Auto UK has just announced pricing for its all-new Grande Punto range, which goes on sale throughout the company’s national dealer network on Saturday 11 February.

Starting at a remarkable £7594 OTR for the well specified 1.2 8v Active 3-door – £1 less than the current Punto – the pricing is particularly competitive against recent

B-segment arrivals, undercutting them by as much as £1300, model for model, while offering particularly generous standard equipment.

''This is an unbelievable price for an absolutely stunning new entrant to the supermini segment,'' says Andy Rowe, Fiat Auto UK commercial director. ''Grande Punto is delivered with clear transparent customer value within its price, and that philosophy is perpetuated throughout the range. Each version delivers terrific value to our customers.

''Versions equipped with our award-winning MultiJet diesel engines – the widest choice in the category – continue this philosophy. Pricing from £8495 positions us as one of the most affordable diesel offerings in this segment, with many of our competitors charging well over £1000 more.

''But Grande Punto isn’t just about great pricing – the story doesn’t end there. It’s about the whole package. The product itself, its segment-leading Euro NCAP safety rating, very low running costs which equate to dramatically improved insurance ratings, and great residual value forecasts – altogether, an unbeatable package.''
