HYUNDAI APPOINTS NEW UK HEAD OF HR
04 January 2006 - Hyundai

The world’s seventh largest car manufacturer Hyundai continues its recruitment drive of senior personnel with the appointment of Janet Burr as Head of HR for Hyundai Motor UK Ltd.

This is the third senior appointment since Hyundai Motor UK (HMUK) became part of the global operation in July.

Burr has extensive experience in the HR field and will leave her post as Head of HR at Volvo Car UK to join HMUK on 1 February 2006, reporting directly to Managing Director Tony Whitehorn.

Commenting on Burr’s appointment, Whitehorn said: “We are delighted Janet has joined our business. Her knowledge and specialist skills will be invaluable to the already very professional HR function here at HMUK.”
