PEUGEOT STRENGTHENS ITS FLEET TEAM WITH FIVE NEW APPOINTMENTS
13 December 2005 - Peugeot

Peugeot is strengthening the service and support it provides fleet customers with the appointment of a new fleet leasing manager, and four new fleet sales managers.

The new organisation will be responsible for fostering closer working relationships with companies operating a fleet of more than 100 vehicles, as well as developing new business opportunities.

Geoff Watts, the new fleet leasing manager, was previously a fleet sales manager for Peugeot in West London and the Thames Valley, but will now provide support to leasing companies based in the South of England.

Commenting on this new appointment, Steve Harris fleet and leasing director at Peugeot says: ''Leasing companies represent such an important part of the fleet market, we have made this change to enable us to improve our communication and support to these companies.''

The four new fleet sales managers are Phil Thomas (West Midlands, Cheshire and North & Mid-Wales), Phil Roberts (West London and Thames Valley), Mark Warwick (North of England) and Richard Abbott (South East and Hampshire). All have a wide range of fleet experience gained through previous positions within Peugeot Contract Hire or various after-sales functions.

''We are entering exciting times within the fleet market, especially with our increasingly diverse range. These recent changes demonstrate our commitment to providing our fleet and leasing customers with strong support backed up by a real depth of experience and understanding of the marketplace,'' added Steve Harris.
