GREAT REASONS TO BUY A PEUGEOT THIS SPRING
22 February 2005 - Peugeot

With spring just around the corner it’s time to look to a new Peugeot to banish the last of the winter blues.

As the new ’05 registration plate goes on sale on 1 March some of Peugeot’s most popular models have never looked so attractive.

206

The best selling 206 is now even more appealing with the recently introduced 1.1 Independence three door model starting at just £6,495 on the road. With the S, SE, Zest, Sport, Quiksilver and GTi derivatives completing the range, there is a little ‘lion’ to suit every lifestyle and pocket.

The sporty looks associated with Peugeot’s World Rally Championship world beating car are echoed across the Sport, Quiksilver, GTi and of course the GTi 180 derivative – which with its 2.0 litre 180bhp petrol engine has the performance to match. The Sport model starts from £8,995, Quiksilver from £10,995 and GTi from £15,215 on the road.

For added value and peace of mind all 206 models (except 206 Independence) are available with free insurance for buyers aged 21-80.*

Roof down motoring

With thoughts turning to summer, Peugeot meets the British penchant for roof down motoring with the best selling Peugeot 206CC and its sibling – the 307CC. The * not including Northern Ireland innovative and infinitely practical electric folding metal roof offers both convenience and security. Prices start at £14,920 on the road for the 206CC S model and from £16,995 on the road for the larger four seat 307CC model.

307

Peugeot’s 307 is available as a hatchback, estate or SW. Three new models join the line-up consisting of X-Line, Sport and Quiksilver which offer customers a real choice in terms of style, handling and performance.

The X-Line is available with a 1.4 (three and five door hatch only) and 1.6 petrol engines, as well as the 2.0 litre HDi 90 diesel engine, with pricing starting from £10,995 on the road.

The Sport version has, as its names suggests, all the good looks of a sporty model, but without the associated running costs, as it comes with a 1.6 petrol engine or a choice of three economical diesel engines, the 1.6 HDi with 110bhp or the 2.0 litre HDi with either the 90bhp or 136bhp engine.

The Quiksilver model starts from £14,020 on the road and is available with a
1.6 petrol or choice of two HDi diesel engines; the 1.6 HDi 110bhp or 2.0 HDi 136bhp. It has a wealth of standard equipment including; SMARTNAV satellite navigation system with 12 month subscription (worth £844), metallic silver paintwork, 16'' alloy wheels, unique Quiksilver trim, leather steering wheel and alloy pedals and gearlever knob.
