MORE LIGHT EVEN IN TOUGH CONDITIONS
21 November 2005 - Bosch

New compact Bosch auxiliary head lamp ''Rallye 175'' added to broad Bosch light range

Flexibly installable auxiliary lamp Rallye 175 with 90 degree movable
base

· With ECE and SAE approval

· Suitable for 12 and 24V vehicle electrical systems

· Bosch offers an extensive auxiliary and performance lamp range

The new auxiliary lamp with high beam ''Rallye 175'' with ECE and SAE
approval is a valuable addition to the extensive Bosch range of flood
lamps. The new model is similar to the successful Rallye 225, however,
due to the more compact housing and the pivoting base which can be
adjusted by 90 degrees, the mounting options are much more variable even
in crowded spaces. The Rallye 175 is available with clear or blue optical
lens and integrated marker light. The beam range of both models extends
to some 220 meters. The benefits of the extremely weather-resistant resin
housing are especially welcome in rugged conditions.

With a size of 205 millimeters diameter and, depending on the base
position, a depth of 116 to 121 millimeters, the Rallye 175 can be fitted
to a number of vehicles, amongst them off-road and commercial vehicles.
The flood lamp can be mounted either upright, suspended or on vertical
surfaces thanks to the pivoting base. The Rallye 175 is equipped with a
powerful H1 bulb of either 12V or 24V - depending on the vehicle
electrical system.

auxiliary and performance lamps from Bosch
Bosch offers a total of nine product lines of auxiliary lamps, thus
covering practically all areas of application and customer needs. Many
lamps are especially designed for use on commercial vehicles or off-road
vehicles. Bosch also offers stylish solutions for passenger cars with

Most auxiliary head lamps are designed as fog lamps or driving lamps. In
Scandinavian countries, for example, or in areas of application where it
is permitted, Bosch also offers a line of products with far ranging
pencil-beam light distribution. Moreover, several Xenon auxiliary
headlamps are included in the product program. These version provide for
an especially wide and bright illumination. Bosch in addition offers
flood lamps with a regular, wide-ranging fan-shaped light pattern, as is
useful for towing vehicles, emergency vehicles and agricultural or
forestry machines and for winter road service.

A large range of accessories for mounting and matching bulbs complete
the Bosch range for auxiliary and performance head lamps. The most
popular head lamps are also available as sets with two head lamps,
complete installation material such as switches and relays and detailed
instructions for installation.
