CAR IS LAUNCHED TO CELEBRATE REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE’S LIFE
29 October 2005 - Revell
It’s 50 years since James Dean tragically died at the age of 24.
To mark this anniversary, Revell have produced 5,500 Limited Edition James Dean Porsche Spyder 550 slot cars. The same model the actor was driving when he crashed and tragically died. This incredibly detailed sport car model, is even marked with the number 130 and includes on the rear the nickname, ''Little Bastard’ which had been given to Dean by his speech trainer Bill Hickman. The Limited Edition slot car comes in a special commemorative box and is priced at £39.99.
